The Dublin Hotel was first licenced in 1869.
this, it was a Relay Station for the Hill & Co. Stage Coach Lines, travelling from Adelaide to
Port Augusta, and Adelaide to Clare. It had rooms
and a stable. After obtaining a licence it became
an Hotel, and still is a popular stopping place to and from Adelaide.
 The original land grant consisting of 172 acres was bought by Thomas Stephenson, on September 11, 1866.
